Individual Therapy
I collaborate with teens, adults, and older adults who want to make meaningful changes in their lives but feel unsure where to start. My style is warm, supportive, trauma-informed, and judgment-free, creating a space where you can share your innermost thoughts and feelings to gain clarity and self-awareness.
In our work together, I help you move toward greater self-compassion, deepen your awareness of personal triggers and patterns, and strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. Whether you're working through anxiety, life transitions, grief, or a desire for more purpose or confidence, my goal is to support you in recognizing your strengths, embracing your full self, and building a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.
I tailor our sessions to your individual needs, integrating a variety of evidence-based approaches. Below, you can explore the therapeutic modalities I draw from and how each can support your personal growth:
-
CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, self-doubt, or stress, and replace them with more helpful, balanced perspectives. CBT also offers tools to build coping skills and take small, effective steps toward change.
-
Rooted in the understanding that our earliest relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others, this approach explores how attachment styles influence your current emotional experiences and relationships. We work to create more secure patterns of connection—both internally and with the people you care about.
-
Rather than focusing solely on problems or symptoms, I help you identify and build on your existing strengths, values, and resources. This empowering approach reinforces your inner resilience and promotes confidence as you work toward your goals.
-
Grounded in the belief that healing happens through authentic connection, this approach creates a space of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness. You are seen, heard, and accepted as you are—while being gently supported toward growth and self-discovery.
-
Many of us have inner parts that carry different emotions, roles, or protective patterns. In parts work, we compassionately explore these inner voices—like the inner critic, the overachiever, or the part that avoids vulnerability—so they can be understood and integrated. This leads to greater internal harmony and emotional regulation.
-
Your story matters—and sometimes, it needs a new perspective. Narrative therapy allows you to explore the stories you’ve been told (or tell yourself) about who you are, so you can separate from limiting beliefs and reclaim your identity. Together, we create space for more empowering, values-based narratives.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
I am a trained EMDR therapist (by the Institute for Creative Mindfulness). EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, anxiety, and overwhelming life experiences.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or gentle tapping, to help the brain process distressing memories and experiences in a new, healthier way. Many people are surprised to discover how natural and non-invasive EMDR feels — you don’t have to retell your painful memories in detail. Instead, EMDR allows your mind and body to heal at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
EMDR is a gentle, supportive method that honors your readiness and your personal journey. You stay in control throughout the process. I have witnessed firsthand how incredibly healing EMDR can be — helping individuals not only lessen the emotional intensity of painful experiences but also discover a deeper sense of peace, empowerment, and emotional freedom.
